Senior Media Buyer

Traffic Jam is looking to hire an experienced media buyer to manage our lead generation campaigns across a variety of traffic sources. You must have significant experience running white hat ads across a wide variety of platforms, most critically: Facebook, Google Ads, native, display and SnapChat. We expect this position to grow into a director-level leadership role in the near future, so the ideal candidate will also have experience managing a media buying team. 


This is a remote position, so you must be comfortable with and productive working outside the traditional office environment in an unstructured fashion. 

The position pays base salary plus profit sharing performance bonus. Compensation varies commensurate with work experience.

Copywriter

Traffic Jam is seeking to hire an experienced copywriter to help support the company’s media buying team. Copywriters are the “brains” behind the marketing campaigns. They take a product and craft a “hook,” then write ad headlines, landing pages, video scripts, and email copy. These creatives are handed off to the media buying team, who then uses them in direct response advertising campaigns. This is a remote position, although slight preference may be given to local candidates. 


Copywriters are expected to

  • Brainstorm irresistible “hooks” for marketing campaigns

  • Write advertorial landing pages

  • Write video ad scripts

  • Write websites copy

  • Craft headlines for ads

  • Create email marketing campaigns

  • Give ideas and direction to photographers for campaign shoots 


Requirements

  • Strong persuasive writing skills

  • At least 1 year of experience writing copy for online marketing campaigns


Bonus Skills:

  • Experience managing ad campaigns on Facebook or Google

  • Product photography

  • Video editing

Junior Media Buyer

Traffic Jam is looking for someone with a broad array of general marketing skills and incredible attention to detail to fill the role of Executive Marketing Assistant. The Executive Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the media buying team with a variety of tasks, including data entry, reporting, basic ads management and creative editing.


Job Requirements

  • Experience with compiling reports

  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager

Responsibilities

  • Data entry - Maintain our detailed database of accounts under management. Ensure constant accuracy of data

  • Communicate daily with vendors to facilitate sales and resolve account issues

  • Onboard new ad accounts: properly catalog information in CRM and relevant spreadsheets

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits on ad accounts and ensure CRM data is up to date

  • Maintain company data visualization dashboards, ensuring consistent accuracy of data been ad accounts, CRM, and spreadsheets

  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly profit reports for management

  • Build Facebook pages and upload content to website via FTP

  • Build basic Facebook ad campaigns

  • Research and catalog potential ad images for use by media buyers

  • Perform basic image editing in Photoshop (cropping, color manipulation, etc)
